Comments: Excellent food and atmosphere. The service is wonderful. A great place to celebrate our friends anniversary. The owners mingle with the diners and converse.

Comments: I love Italian food. This place has great food! I like to mix it up though. If you want a great neighborhood quiet feel, this is the place. If you're looking for a busy atmosphere, then Lombardo's. Overall...super place!

Comments: For over 15 years, I've been a regular (almost weekly) at Bongiorno's on Dove St. in Albany. The reason is simple: SUPERB FOOD AND SERVICE. The atmosphere is great, as are Rosanna and Felix and the entire staff. As they say, "Business goes where it's invited and stays where it's well treated." Judging by all the repeat guests I see when I'm there, this saying is indeed the case with Bongiorno's. A really fantastic place to dine!

Comments: We eat at Bongiorno's about once a week and it's far and away our favorite place! The food is truly excellent, all made fresh and cooked by the Bongiorno family. Wide variety of dishes (we've had them all) and it's all great. The folks who work there are "family" also, and it doesn't take long for a customer to become family too. The service is friendly, unpretentious, and always attentive. They tell you on the menu that if you're in a big hurry, you might want to come back another time--this is European style, relaxed dining, though they can do faster if you let them know. We always leave feeling like we've had a great meal and a relaxing time with friends. It's as good as it gets!

Comments: I just have to go on record as saying that Bongiorno's is a treasure to have in Albany at a great location.Every time I've been the food has been fantastic. The seafood and veal dishes are amazing. The menu states that the owners cook, everything made to order ( not premade) and you could tell the attention paid to detail, as the chef even walked through to greet and ask how everything was. Well worth the trip. Easy to find right near the capital. We'll definitely be back.
